Are we required to use your list of vendors?

Couples who have the most stress-free experience hire professional vendors for their wedding day. While we do not require you to use all of the vendors on our list, we do have some requirements regarding tenting and catering. All tenting must be sourced through Mountain Elegance, a vendor who has worked at our property many times and is familiar with the space. Catering must be provided by a licensed and insured company or restaurant that prepares food in a professional-grade kitchen. All vendors must provide us with a certificate of insurance 30 days prior to your event. 

Can we provide our own alcohol?

8360 IvyLog does not offer bar services so all alcohol must be provided by the client or the caterer. You must hire a licensed bartender(s) to serve your guests. Bartending is oftentimes an add-on through your catering company.

Do we need liability insurance?

Yes. We require that you obtain a $1,000,000 liability event insurance policy through ewedinsurance.com for your event and list 8360 IvyLog as insured. More details about this policy can be found here. The cost for this type of policy is $119 and covers events hosting up to 500 guests. For events larger than 500 guests, please contact the company at info@ewedinsurance.com for pricing.

How many hours will we have access to the venue?

Your rental includes all weekend access as follows:

  • Day 1 of Rental: 8:00 am - 11:00 pm

  • Day 2 of Rental: 8:00 am - 11:00 pm

  • Day 3 of Rental: 7:00 am - 10:00 am (personal item pickup and vendor strike only)

Do you require a wedding coordinator?

Yes. A coordinator will need to be on-site to serve as the point-of-contact for all vendors, wedding party members, and guests on the day of your event. 

What type of deposit is required to book?

A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to reserve your date. The remaining balance will be due 1 month before your event.

Do you require a security deposit?

Yes. A $1,000 refundable damage deposit is due ten days before your event as security for any damages that may occur. If no damages are noted, your deposit will be promptly returned.

Are pets allowed?

Yes. Pets are permitted outside of the building for portraits and during the ceremony. We request that animals be leashed and cared for by a designated handler while they are on the property. Pets should be returned to their homes/hotels before the start of the reception. Service animals are permitted both inside and outside of the building and are an exception to the aforementioned policy.

Can we host a non-wedding related event at 8360 IvyLog?

Absolutely! We are available for baby showers, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, fundraisers, holiday parties, and other celebrations. Please contact us for rates and availability.
